Welcome to my webpage!  Currently, I am the Response to Intervention, (RTI) teacher.  This is my fifteenth year of teaching, and I have been at Friendship for two years.  I am a West Tennessee native.  I have a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Freed-Hardeman University and a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction also from FHU.

I am passionate in believing that all students can reach their maximum potential without excuse.  In our class, we strive to reach our highest level of academic achievement.  I strongly believe in integrating technology daily in my classroom.  I constantly strive to meet individual needs and my lessons are varied for all three learning styles; auditory, visual, and kinesthetic.

I am married with three daughters, two granddaughters, and a son-in-law.  I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved in church activities.  I try to be dedicated to working out and being healthy.  I love outdoor activities including boating, hiking, water and snow skiing.  I also have a passion for reading during my leisure time.  I am excited about helping your child grow this year at Friendship Elementary School!
